Rosie is a five year old purebred Treeing Walker Coonhound, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Rosie spent her first four years in a small kennel suffering neglect and abuse. When her owner decided he didn’t want her anymore, he was preparing to shoot her. That’s when a kind women stepped up and rescued her. Sadly, the woman died suddenly and Rosie was adopted by the woman's daughter. The daughter has now been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and is in the hospital. SNIPPP stepped in and rescued her. This is what her foster mother says about Rosie: “ She lives to give kisses!! Loves to cuddle, sleep up by our heads with her own pillow. She is as sweet as they come. She has decided treats are sooooooo yummy!! She shows no interest in the horse and chicken or guinea pig.“ Because of her past abuse, Rosie is terribly shy at first and has separation anxiety, so she needs someone patient, kind, and home most of the time: someone who would enjoy a 55 lb lapdog with a fine hound howl at times. Please contact Suzanne Kane 530/335-2192 or SNIPPP 530/336-6006 to find out more. |
